How to insert image into text

First open a image file. File > Open > image.jpg- Open

Click right button on Background layer then click- Layer from Background. A New Layer window box will appear.

 

Set- Name: Photo and click OK.

Go to Layer > New > Layer > Ok. A new Layer 1 layer will appear.

Move the Layer 1 layer below the Photo layer.

Hide the Photo layer by clicking eye icon of the Photo layer.

 

Select Layer 1 layer.

Select Paint Bucket Tool. Set Foreground color: White.

Click on layer 1 background to fill it with white color.

Unhide the Photo layer by clicking eye icon of the Photo layer).

Select Text Tool and type something. It will appear in text layer.

Move the Photo layer above the text layer.

Click right button on Photo layer then click Create Clipping Mask. This will insert the photo background into the texts.
